Association Reserves, Inc. is a professional engineering consulting company that provides Reserve budget and disclosure solutions. Established in 1986, we currently have clients in 43 states and perform approximately 2500 Reserve Studies each year. These include condominiums, planned unit developments, hi-rises, vacation ownership resorts, Co-Ops, and other commercial, educational, worship, and recreational facilities. The scope of the facilities vary, with amenities including such items as streets, pools, roofing, stables, clubhouses, ski lifts, lakes, marinas and golf courses. Client sizes range from 3 units to associations of over 10,000 homes, with organizational breakdown into as many as 17 different sub-associations.

Association Reserves is a nationally recognized leader and provider in the Reserve Study industry. With our multi-state client base, we were an early proponent of, and continue to be an advocate of National Reserve Study Standards (finalized in 1998). Our corporate office is located in Calabasas, CA and we have regional offices in Phoenix, San Francisco, Denver, California’s “Inland Empire”, Kailua-Kona, Las Vegas, Orange County (CA), San Diego, and Seattle. Our in-house database tracks proprietary information for over 20,000 Community Associations.

Preparing Reserve Studies has been our sole business since the firm was established in 1986. Since two of the firm's principals are former Boardmembers, our reports reflect an appreciation for the specific information needs of the Board of Directors. We are an engineering-based organization, staffed specifically for this unique field. We have developed an efficient system of gathering the appropriate site information, making accurate replacement cost estimates, and developing responsible and realistic reserve funding recommendations. A majority of our clients return for updates in future years.

Our Reserve Study product continues to receive high praise from homeowners, Board members, managers, and industry professionals because of its readability, photographic inventory, popularity of our free MS-Excel Funding Analysis software, and overall accessibility (completed Reports are posted on our website). Our independence means that the issues have been reviewed from an outside professional perspective, with no conflicts with management, developers, service vendors, or homeowners.
