In our work preparing Reserve Studies, we find that a relatively small number of components typically dominate the findings of the report. Three of the most influential components are roofing, painting/siding, and asphalt. As a result, it is vitally important that the Useful Life, Remaining Useful Life, and Current Replacement Cost of these items are accurately reflected in the Reserve Study. In cases like this, we rely on the guidance of outside experts to keep us up to date on the latest developments.

Learn About Asphalt Maintenance & Replacement

We recently invited Gordon Miller of General Pavement Management to join us for a production staff training session on the topic of asphalt. You may be familiar with Gordon, as his articles appear in our Learning Center’s Library. In order to maximize the number of people who can benefit from it, he gave us permission to record and broadcast the session. You can watch Gordon’s excellent presentation by clicking here. Gordon is remarkably effective in avoiding technical jargon throughout the presentation. We found it very useful and hope you will too.
