Will Simons, RS

Will Simons, RS joined the Association Reserves team in 2008 after spending time in the insurance and commercial real estate fields. He has since completed over 1,200 Reserve Studies and earned the Community Associations Institute (CAI) designation of Reserve Specialist (RS #190). Will’s experience includes all types of condominium and homeowners’ associations throughout the southeastern United States. His clients have ranged from modern, luxury high-rises to homeowners’ associations representing thousands of homes. Will has also provided Reserve Studies for many timeshare/fractional properties, resorts, schools, marinas, country clubs, historic properties, and commercial developments. Will presently serves as the Treasurer of his own homeowners association, representing over 600 homes. He is also a Florida-licensed Continuing Education Provider (#0005433) for Community Association Managers. A frequent author and speaker on the subject of Reserve planning, Will holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. In his free time, Will enjoys traveling with his wife and exploring the great outdoors.

Aldo Gonzalez, PE, RS

Aldo Gonzalez, PE, RS joined the Association Reserves team in 2014. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Florida International University and is a Registered Licensed Engineer (#49450) in the State of Florida. Aldo’s career has spanned over 30 years of civil engineering and project management roles. For over 15 years, he directed his own engineering consulting firm, providing a large array of services including: general engineering consulting, real estate asset inspection, planning and feasibility studies, engineering reports and design calculations, drainage and paving design, water, sewer and flood control system design, quantity and cost estimating, and more to a wide variety of clients throughout Florida. In addition, Aldo served as Board Member for the Palm Isle at Doral Community Development District in Doral, Florida and has extensive experience in providing consulting services for HOA and Condominium Association projects. Aldo has taken up running, completing more than twenty 5k races to date including races in Hawaii and Costa Rica. When he is not running he likes to spend time with his family on vacation trips.

David Whann

David Whann joined the Association Reserves team in 2016. He is a lifelong Florida resident and is currently enrolled at the University of South Florida where he is majoring in Accounting and maintaining a 3.85 GPA. David combines an analytical, problem-solving mindset with a positive “can-do” attitude to help serve our clients all across the state. Prior to joining our team, David has worked for multiple retailers as well as at a medical practice. He has also volunteered for the budgeting department of a school district. A standout athlete, David enjoys watching football and staying active outdoors in his free time.

Abe El-Masri
Project Manager

Abe El-Masri, EIT joined the Association Reserves team in 2017. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Calgary, Canada. After serving in the Canadian Military, Abe worked at a reputable engineering firm in Canada before relocating to south Florida. Prior to joining our team, Abe worked as a Project Engineer for a local construction firm. In that role, he took on numerous responsibilities including assisting senior engineers in the construction field, monitoring project schedules, production, cost estimation and value engineering, just to name a few. Abe is currently working towards obtaining both the RS (Reserve Specialist) credential and PE (Professional Engineer) License in the State of Florida. Aside from work, you might catch Abe on a soccer field enjoying a pick-up game, or tanning on the beach.
